1:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Bollywood Dandiya Choreography
Learn a short Bollywood choreography infused with the garba-dandiya folk dance! A dynamic, festive, and graceful piece that allows you to use the sticks (dandiya) in both traditional and original ways. Sticks will be provided for participants who don't have their own.
*Intermediate level (1 year of Indian dance experience recommended or a lot of enthusiasm)
3:15 PM to 5:15 PM - Fragmentation and Fusion (Neobellydance) *3 spots remaining!*
By paying attention to each element and detail, this workshop invites you to explore the layering of movements (pelvis, torso, arms, head...) and their symbiosis through different angles and movements. A perfect session to boost your body awareness and leave with plenty of ideas and exercises for your own creations. We'll have fun with everything in short sequences.
*Intermediate level (minimum 2 years of belly dance experience recommended)
